Worked as a field assistant for GPS data collection in the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India (DST-GoI) sponsored Project ‘Generation of Digital Database on Changes in Coastline and River Courses in the Lower Deltaic West Bengal during the 20th Century’ during December 2000–April 2001 (Hosted by the Department of Geography, University of Burdwan)
Worked as a field assistant for Ground Truth Verification of satellite images in the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)-sponsored Project ‘Remote Sensing Based Soil Moisture Estimation in Lower Deltaic West Bengal’ during August 2002–January 2003 (Hosted by the Department of Geography, University of Burdwan)
Also have field experience related to RS/GIS and GPS in Garhbeta badlands of Medinipur and along the eroding banks of the Ganga of Malda district, West Bengal.
