I was born and educated in Germany and lived there for 18 years. I received my advanced education at Dartmouth College in the United States. My professional background includes managing international law offices which specialize in international pharmaceutical laws and medical research laws. My experience spans more than 25 years and I supervised all legal, medical and technical translations and transcriptions for the firm.

Because of my professional background and experiences in the legal, medical and technical community I am familiar with a wide range of topics. I have done transcribing and translating for the legal, medical, pharmaceutical, scientific, academic, business, real estate, publishing, education and non-profit industries as well as other general subjects, i.e. children's books and short stories. I do not use web-based translation sites as they are unable to capture language colloquialisms and nuances. I am highly organized, efficient, honest, reliable and easy to work with and, contrary to many freelancers, I tend to work with, and concentrate my efforts on, one client at a time so that the client receives my full and undivided attention.
