I have worked in broadcasting for the past 15 years using Cool Edit Pro and other audio editing software (i.e. Pro Tools) nearly every day. I am also excellent at explaining how to do things, and I can teach audio editing techniques from the most basic questions to advanced multi-tracking inquiries.
For about the same amount of time, I have been avidly collecting music on CD. I am very savvy at tracking down specific versions of songs on CD, be it single versions or promo versions; I have a large network of friends who can help find anything I might not have or know where to find. My areas of expertise are pop (top 40) from all decades and classic hip hop (pre-2000).
I am highly skilled at transferring and digitally restoring vinyl recordings that have never been issued on CD. Many claim to be able to do this well, but their attempts fall short of my high standards---either too much noise reduction is used or there is a lack of a high quality source/equipment.

15 years of using audio editing software nearly every day.
15 years as an on-air talent for various CHR stations, five of which were spent as a nationally syndicated talent for the Radio Disney network. I also did production for all of the stations I've worked for, and I currently produce Radio Disney's Saturday night mix show.
