I am currently working as Business development executive in a Vale added services and web applications company. Previously I have worked with the Riphah business resource Center. I worked on a project to identify the reasons for lack for a strong brand name of Riphah University in the market, propose solutions and implement them. I devised a complete strategy for the project and an implementation calendar to run the whole campaign. I also worked with Interloop Private Limited which is the leading socks manufacturer in South Asia. The project involved a strategic shift with Interloop forward integrating. Interloop planned on launching a new brand of socks that starts locally and then goes global. A marketing research was performed for Interloop in Rawalpindi and Islamabad to ascertain the need for a new brand. The research also identified target segments, buyer behavior and the retail cycle in the local socks market. I conducted a macro and a micro environment analysis of the industry and the company respectively. I developed an integrated marketing communication strategy for the new brand based on the research. Before that i was working in Telenor Pakistan as Segment planning And development officer. over there I studied the market for persona-karobar Package and was actively involved its launch. Apart from that my responsibilities included developing process for persona-weblounge, work on it launch and monitor post launch trends. I also looked after the direct debit payment solution and sms based services. In this i monitored weekly and monthly trends and launched campaigns to keep the product fresh. I also worked with Pakistan Tobacco company as an intern where I did two projects that were launched by the company So my tasks have given me experience in Contributing extensively towards the development of detailed business requirements, To Contribute towards the development of business plans as well as internal/external product positioning rationale, To Contribute extensively towards the development of detailed business requirements to drive cross functional teams in the design and implementation of the product to drive cross functional teams in the design and implementation of the product, To Conduct Post Product/Service launch analysis and manage that performance throughout product lifecycle .I have done my BBA honors (4 year) with majors in marketing from FAST-NU Islamabad. My course work included the study of the principles of marketing, consumer behavior, marketing research and integrated marketing communication strategy that helped me develop an understanding of the process of segmentation, targeting and positioning. It also gave me an understanding of the different processes involved in the development and execution of different marketing plans. You will note from the enclosed resume that my extracurricular activities have given me a lot of experience in organizing large scale events. All these activities involved a lot of interpersonal communication on many different levels. My experience in debating gives me and edge when it comes to presentation skills. My work experience involves all the facets of the marketing mix with a special focus on analyzing data and based on them developing solutions for different companies. My work and extra-curricular activities experience also helped me to develop an understanding of working in teams ,being lead by the supervisor and also leading the teams.
