In our world and in our own lives, Love is real. Once we encounter true Love (Agape), and breathe Love in, continually being nourished by His beauty, allowing His Love to heal the scars that help to hold our souls in captivity, we are never the same. The real Thing is radically different than the love that the world tries to pawn. Don't ever be confused otherwise, as counterfeits abound.

In a world "chasing after the wind", abundant Life is such a wonderful thing!
1 Corinthians 13 -
No matter the religious duties a man fulfills, if he has no Love, God is not in him. My prayer is that we would get beyond token efforts to satisfy meager consciences, replaced with the Love (Agape) of Christ flowing through us.

Experience & Qualifications

I have been counseling my friends and others I encounter in Life and faith for some time. By the grace of God, a number have been encouraged in Love. I co-led Crossroads Community Church's college group. I led a separate small group Bible study as well. I founded and led the "Orphan Helpers Club" at Wheaton College, which was not only a ministry to connect students to hurting kids, but also a means of spiritual growth to those we would interact with while at Wheaton. A Christian retreat at my home just ended today (my first day on this site!). One retreat I led, called, "Orphan For a Weekend" received an article in the primary newspaper of the Chicago suburbs, the "Daily Herald."
By grace alone, I have been on over two dozen mission trips in 5 continents, mostly in the 2/3 world, including over one dozen with Orphan Helpers. My first trip was to a Nepali orphanage at age 11.
