I have over 34 years of experience as a registered nurse and over 12 years as a CRNA. I served over 30 years in the US Army Reserves in the Nurse Corps and retired as a Colonel. I have several years of highly responsible clinical experience in numerous critical care and anesthesia capacities, including level I trauma centers that require intense training, vigilance, and dedication. I have excellent training and knowledge-base in both capacities. I am knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, and pharmacology as they relate to anesthesia. I am competent with a variety of anesthetic agents and techniques for numerous types of surgical and obstetrical procedures, including both general and regional anesthesia, IV sedation, and monitored anesthesia care. I have clinical experience in general, E-ENT (eye, ear, nose and throat), oral, thoracic, cardiovascular, plastic, neurological, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, obstetric, and pediatric anesthesia.
