Design And Development Of Distributed Buoyancy Modules, Bend Protection, Bend Restrictors, Bending Stiffeners And Piggyback Clamps For Subsea Pipelines And Umbilicals.
Preparation Of Detailed Quotations For The Project Including Technical Documentation Required For The Bid Submission.
Preparation And Coordination Of All Technical Documentation Required For The Project Including Concept Drawings, Design Bases, Design Reports, Test And Operational Procedures.
Ensure That The Drawings Are Issued To Manufacturing Department In A Timely Manner To Suit Project Schedule
Coordinate Visits By Client Or 3rd Party Test Inspection To Witness Testing Activities At Touk's Facilities.
Carry Out Product Tests And Prepare Test Reports, Product Documentation, Installation Procedures.
Job 3 - Mechanical Design Engineer
Duties Involved A Combination Of Engineering Design And Management Activities In Major Projects Unit, Mainly: Computer Literacy / I.T Skills:
Technical Design Review Of Elevator / Shaft And The Interface With Building Structure. (Requires Intensive Reading Of Architectural And Structural Drawings In Conjunction With The Core Specs)
Attending Key Company Meetings Such As Project Handover From Sales To The Design Team.
Modification Of Existing Designs In Line With Health And Safety Legislation (Modernization).
CSCS Certified To Supervise & Manage Construction Sites.
Monitor And Regulate Project Progress For Timely Completion.
Assisting With Commercial Aspects Of The Project Including Change Control And Reviewing The Contract To Determine Commercial Implications Resulting From Modifications Or Additions To Scope.
Operating Systems: Windows (Xp, 2000, 9x, Vista), Dos
Office Applications: Ms Excel, Word, Power Point And Project (95-2007)
Programming Languages: C++, Matlab, Mathcad And Visual Basic.
