I am capable of giving expert input from the very basic toolroom machining to the construcion of tooling ranging from the manufacture of fine jewelry to heavy automotive metal stampings, whether it be multi-stage progressive, or deep deep draw dies, I have constructed and trouble shot just about every type of metal stamping die ever designed.

Experience & Qualifications

My five year apprenticeship was completed at the age of twenty one with the Singer Sewing Machine Company in Scotland. During that time I also attended Stow College of Engineering in the evenings. At the age of twenty two I started moving from job to job, not only to glean more knowledge of my trade, but always for higher compensation. I have built tooling for British, German, Italian, French, South African, and of course American Companies.
Most of my expertise was garnered in jobbing shops where there was no room for bluffers, if someone did not know the trade they did not last one week. Small shops could not afford to carry the dead weight that I witnessed in capital establishments such as the Ford Motor Company where I worked for a number of years as a Tool and Die leader and during that time I became quite expert in deep draw dies.
