Extensive expertise managing medication therapies for both prescription and over-the-counter drugs. This includes helping those patients with more than one condition or disease who may be taking mupltiple medications prescribed by more than one doctor and filled by different pharmacies.
Identifying potential adverse drug reactions, drug allergies, drug interactions, dosing problems, and/or eliminating unecessary medications is a key goal.
I will build an on-line computerized medication profile based on the information you povide. This profile has built in tools to screen for many problems such as duplicate drug therapy, drug/drug-drug/food-drug disease state interactions, allergy screening, and much more.
I then combine the results of this medication profile screening process with my extensive clinical knowledge and experience to identify problems and formulate a plan of action.
The plan of action may include contacting physicians with recommendations to change medication therapy. Either you, I or both (in conference mode) can do this.
The on line profile is viewable by me, you, and anyone else you give authorization to - such as other family members, doctors, etc.
The on line profile is free for you to use for 1-month. There is a fee to extend it beyond that.

As a licensed pharmacist and drug therapy expert with a Clinical Doctorate degree I have over 18years of extensive experience managing complicated drug therapies. I have consulted for adult, children, and geriatric patients who are hospitalized or in a long term care facility (nursing home, etc.) or at home. This includes screening as many as 25 medications for each patient looking for interactions and other problems. I use state of the art computer programs to help screen for potential problems. When potential problems are identified I will (at your direction) contact your doctor with a recommendation on how to fix the problem. This often leads to avoiding serious adverse drug reactions, hospitalizations and on some occassions prevent disability or death. The consultation often pays for itself with cost savings related to the elimination of un-needed medications and or avoiding extra visits to the doctor or the hospital due to severe side effects caused by your medications.
