Experience & Qualifications

My full-time profession is IT (software development, system design, consulting) for 20+ years. So as it relates to computer based music production, I have extensive professional experience on the computer technology part. On the artistic side, I've played in bands, done recording sessions, written numerous compositions and co-written various songs, on a semi-pro; basis. I've also done a fair amount of freelance sound design work - see melodymachine.com products.
I am the designer/developer of sfArk SoundFont Compression (lossless audio compression) and have substantial of experience of SoundFont programming, including the Vienna editor.
