I am a Registered Nurse with 8 years experience as a nurse and 2 years of experience as a Nursing Assistant. I have the knowledge and experience to answer your medical questions. I am also available to nursing students needing advice or assistance in their studies.
My main area of expertise is with Rheumatoid disorders, primarily Lupus. I have completed additional training in the area of Weight Loss and Senior Health-Geriatrics. I am able to assist you with most any area of nursing, such as caring for a patient at home, hospitalized patients and nursing home care.
When seeking advice please be very specific in regards to your medical inquiry. In particular, symptoms, areas of concern and questions. If seeking health related advice for yourself or someone else, I would also please need the age and gender of the person you are inquiring about, as well as a current list of all medications. Including, prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and herbal/alternative supplements.

Experience & Qualifications

My hospital experience has been in the areas of Med-Surg, Cardiac ICU, Pain Management, Emergency Department, Trauma Unit, Surgical Unit, Psychiatric Unit, Geriatric Unit and Long Term Care. I also have experience in Home Health and have also worked as a Triage Nurse. I have worked with patients in Mental Health recovering from abuse, rape, molestation, as well as drug and alcohol abuse. I have limited experience in Obstetrics and Pediatrics, but am able to answer basic questions regarding pregnancy issues, children’s illnesses and children’s injuries.
In addition to the above, I also volunteer as a child’s advocate, and public health nurse.
