I have extensive experience as a photo researcher. Mainly I have been researching music for the past 6 years, and have cultivated relationships with some of the top Rock photographers from the 60's through today.
In addition to music research I have quite a bit of experience working in stock and microstock. I have spent several hours outside of the standard stock sites searching for imagery on Flickr and other sites for usage.
Currently I work with celebrity portrait photographer on the syndication end of things. I have a great view of the current state of photography and work with others to maintain their professional photographic lifestyle while taking into consideration the changing media environment around us.

Experience & Qualifications

My past experience as a photo editor includes almost 2 years at Rolling Stone magazine, 1 year at AOL working on the Netscape Channel, 2 years at Future US Inc, working on magazines such as Guitar World, Future Music, Guitar One and several other music related magazines, and 2 years at Popular Photography magazine. Currently I work as a photo editor at Retna Ltd., a celebrity, music and news syndication photo agency based in New York, NY.
I have working relationships with several photographers and photo houses. I am always working to help maintain the field by thinking outside the box and generating work for photographers through additonal means outside of editorial.
