I have worked in the mental health field for over 19 years with adults,children and adolescents in mental health centers,private practice, health centers, schools
and prenatal/family planning clinics.
Extensive professional counseling in the area of relationship issues with couples and families as well as family therapy addressing marital issues and adolescent issues.
Currently providing telephonic assessments, evaluations, referrals, and counseling as Clinical Care Manager. Also, evaluates clinical appropriateness of treatment using professional knowledge and renders certification decisions to other providers of mental health services requesting authorization to provide various levels of care. Supervised masters level students in the field of mental health. I enjoy helping individuals empower themselves to make positive life changes. I am in this profession to make a difference in the emotional well being of people by promoting personal growth and balance.
