I have taught 7th grade language arts for 3 years, 5-8 grade language arts for 1 year. For the past five years, I have taught Creative Writing, Senior English, and 9th and 10th grade Communication Arts.

Experience & Qualifications

I have trained and completed the Ozarks Writing Project an affiliate of the National Writing Project, and I am now a Teacher Consultant for that organization.
I am also a Teaching Fellow of the National Writing Project.
My autobiographical narrative "Intersections" was selected for publication in "Note Bene". Both a short story entitled "Modern Romance at Millie's Turn of the Century Cafe" as well as the poem "Mama's Plaque" were published in the National Writing Projects Gallery of Writing.
