Full Duplex Communication Demonstration Using Visible Light and Infrared
Using the principles of Free Space Optics transferring data simultaneously through VL (Visible Light) and IR (Infrared). The VL/IR platform would play the dual function of lighting the room and transmitting data. LEDs have the ability to turn on and off at speeds that are not detectable by human eye. The VL/IR platform will take as input digital data from a personal computer and transmit it as a light signal through the LED panel. The signal will subsequently be received by a similar module attached to another computer and will be converted into its original form. The project covers complete understanding of Free Space Optics, Pure Electronics, Serial Communication, Digital Signal processing and Digital Communications.
Yagi Udda Antenna
Implemented Yagi udda Antenna. Calculated the lengths of elements and distances between them with reference to the required beam width.
Walkie Talkie
Implemented hardware using frequency modulation.
EXT file format conversion
Conversion of file format from EXT to NTFS or FAT (operating system, c++)
A/D Converter
Implemented an analog to digital converter on a Vero board. Involved extensive 89C52 microcontroller programming along with voltage amplifiers and a 7 segment display.
File Transfer Protocol
Implemented FTP while studying data communications & networking. Using c++ programmed two terminal computers to send and receive files of any kind. Additional options of file saving to desired location as well as deletion were also provided.
Online Hotel Management Database
Implemented the database on Mysql using Apache as web server. Developed the graphical user interface using JavaScript and HTML. Used PHP as the programming language
