Thirty five years as a volunteer La Leche League Leader, organizing and leading monthly support-group meetings for mothers. Thirteen years as an IBCLC in private practice providing in-home consultations for breastfeeding families. Twenty-five years as an LLLI Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program Administrator, co-author of the LLLI BPCP curriculum, using the curriculum to train more than 100 breastfeeding peer counselors and training administrators for La Leche League International.
Frequent speaker at breastfeeding conferences and community social service organizations. I also teach parenting skills using American Guidance Services' Systematic Training for Effective Parenting course. Iam the mother to four breastfed children and grandmother to five breastfed grandchildren
