M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Child and Family Therapy. I was a Registered Clinical Counselor in British Columbia and am now working towards my license as a Marriage, Family and Child Counselor in California and Hawaii. I hope to have both these licenses by the end of 2009

I have 17 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, children and groups with a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, grief, anger, relationships, communication, parenting, divorce, family of origin, chronic pain. I am a master's level psychologist as well as a yoga teacher and specialize is using body-oriented methods to deal with psychological challenges. I provide a safe, caring and nonjudgmental atmosphere and use brief, solution-oriented and cognitive-behavioral techniques as well as mindfulness and awareness in order to clarify and approach whatever challenges are facing you in the moment.

In addition to working with individuals, children and families I have also facilitated numerous groups in the areas of anger management, parent training, relaxation, yoga, body-oriented techniques to deal with physical and psychological issues.
