My Expert Service

Welcome to my virtual office! I am happy that you stopped by and may be considering online counseling.

I know it can be difficut when choosing a therapist. It can be scary and even overwhelming when trying to decide who you want to talk to about your concerns. All of the therapists here are qualified and well trained. Therefore, finding someone with whom you can be comfortable with and can trust is important. For me, working with and developing relationships with people has always been enjoyable and I believe one of my strengths. My goal in therapy is to know and understand you. My hope is that you would feel comfortable enough to tell me your woes and your joys. Therefore, it is my intention to listen and understand you as throughly as possible. I want to develop an honest open relationship with you. Trust and honesty is key in developing a therapeutic alliance and imperative to the counseling process.

I practice from a person centered therapeutic framework utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques. I offer both short-term and on-going counseling sessions. Short-term counseling generally lasts for one counseling interaction to a few sessions. The short-term counseling interventions I offer are based from solution focused and brief therapy modalities. Ongoing counseling is generally for deeper, more complex issues requiring a number of sessions. I will work with you to determine your needs and what best works and suites you. I provide services to our GLBTQ community regarding:
      • Relationships
      • Low Self-Esteem and Shame
      • The Coming Out Process
      • HIV/AIDS Counseling and Prevention Education
      • Addiction
      • Stress Reduction
      • Insomnia
      • Sleep Disorders
      • Depression
      • Anxiety
I am online for live chat throughout the day after my face to face counseling sessions. All sessions initially begin free until we decide together that I can help you with your concern/concerns. If I am not online, please feel free to email me with questions or concerns. I want to hear from you and want to help you get the help you deserve.

I believe in change and that change can and does happen. We human beings are capable of bettering our lives. And here at Liveperson it is just one click away.

I had a great chat with Barry. I feel his openmindedness and an educated background were good resons to pick him out of the list. I also feel he was practical and really attempted to address each topic I discussed. Good session.
