Becky holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree with a focus on psychotherapy skills. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. Becky has also had the 40 hour Family Mediation training with her practice focus being child custody mediation and is a member of the Academy of Conflict Resolution. Becky has had extensive continuing education and has training in coaching, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and meditative practice, biofeedback techniques, extensive parenting and children issues and much, much more. Becky is a qualified psychotherapist that will provide you with an ethically sound service and is very knowledgeable about when you should be referred for further or different treatment.

Experience & Qualifications

Becky has worked in the field of mental health and human services for the past 20 years. She began in community mental health clinics.
Becky was coordinator at a hospital outpatient program that very successfully treated individuals with anxiety and depression.
Becky has extensive background with families having been a Parent Educator, Mental Health and Disabilities Specialist with Head Start, school counselor and family mediator and providing family therapy.
Becky works with cardiac patients as a member of an innovative multidisciplinary team and helps people understand how stress, anxiety, depression and anger affect their health and teaches them more effective ways of coping and ways to control their symptoms.
Becky also has experience providing therapy in her private practice to a broad spectrum of patients.
Becky is non-judgmental and open minded and very aware of the honor it is to be a part of your process of working toward optimal living.
