I have 11 years experience in clinical counseling, consulting, psycho-education, and family therapy; settings I have worked in include secondary schools, community service agencies and private education centres. I am currently with Richmond Addiction Services where I counsel families affected by misuse of substances and screen technologies (internet, video gaming etc.).
Recent accomplishments:
Recipient of City of Richmond U-ROC Award (Asset Champion) in 2009.
Began support groups for youth and parents affected by problematic internet use and/or video gaming.
Pioneered Addiction Education Series delivered in Cantonese/Mandarin for the Chinese community.
