My Expert Service

I am the author of The Complete Single's Guide To Being A Dog Owner and I work with people (including celebrities) helping them to adopt and or humanely acquire (i.e. not from puppymills) the dogs of their dreams. I also act as an ongoing resource; helping people through the sometimes-overwhelming process of raising a dog- everything from choosing a vet and a daycare to how to cope with the loss of a pet.

Experience & Qualifications

My book, The Complete Single's Guide to Being a Dog Owner has just been published by Adams Media. I am an active dog blogger (www.lovethydog.com)and I have a significant amount of public speaking and on-camera experience. I have been featured as the go-to-girl for all things dogs by People, AOL, YAHOO, LA Magazine as well as featured on KTLA Morning News and KCBS/KCAL 9 news. I have 14 years experience as a producer. My work includes a Sundance featured independent film called Grand Theft Parsons starring Johnny Knoxville and Christina Applegate, as well as Tyler Florence's FOOD 911 on the Food Network. I combined my production/how to skills with my love of animals (I have personally rescued hundreds of dogs from local shelters) to write my book, The Complete Single’s Guide To Being a Dog Owner. I am eager to share my expertise and years of experience, including work with many celebrities, to help people adopt and or humanely acquire dogs (i.e. not from puppy mills) as well as assist them in figuring out ways to weather the challenges that can go along with being a dog owner. I am also an active representative of The International Fund for Animal Welfare. A portion of book proceeds goes to support IFAW's ongoing efforts to help care for companion animals in the world’s poorest communities.
