I began writing short stories in junior high to entertain classmates and make friends. I became the news editor of the high school newspaper and then majored in English and Education in college. I graduated with a BA in both English and Education. I have researched, designed and written educational content including newsletters, brochures, booklets, instructions, public service announcements and news articles. I have been published in the area of child care. I moved on to the corporate world in 1996 and have written for the mortgage servicing industry for the past 15 years. I have written newsletters, procedures, processes, letters, process maps, training documents, call center scripts, learning activities, job-aids, presentations, reports, grant proposals, and day-to-day correspondence. I currently teach a course on Effective Business Writing for my company and consider myself an expert in anything "writing". I also have a blog and have written personal-interest pieces for www.tv.com and www.examiner.com.
