CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, Jul 2006 – Jan 2008
• Served as Business Head with complete top line and bottom line responsisbilities.
• Looking after complete Business Development activities for company's proposed 1000 MW coal based power plant in West BengaL and 350 MW gas based power plant in Tripura. This includes preparing Detailed Project Report (DPR), Total Project Cost (TPC) and tentative time schedule for internal usel.
• Preparing techno economic feasibility report, conceptual design of power plant considering option of various OEM suppliers including imported plant & machinery.
• Dealing with all statutory authorities for land acquisition, environmental & civil aviation clearance, ash disposal, raw water sourcing and exploring various options for fuel (coal) procurement.
• Signing MOU and initiating negotiations with PTC India Ltd and Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited.
• Preparing comparative matrix about techno-economic feasibility of various vendors for company's Wind Energy Generation Farms installed and commissioned in Karnataka and Gujarat (total capacity 40 MW).

• Planned and executed 780 MW combined cycle gas turbine based power plant project at Xiamen in China.
• Responsible for 450 MW gas based cogeneration plant and Upstream LNG loading station’s Utility Island at Bontang in Indonesia.
• Supervised Project & Engineering Management of Power & Utility Island for 1 Million Tonnes / years Pulp Mill at Xin Hui in Guagdong province in China including coal based cogeneration power plant.
