I have developed a theory concerning the epidemic of depression and mood disorders in Western society. I do not believe that modern Western medicine is correct that Serotonin deficiency in the brain is the cause of most mild to major depression. Most people only find temporary relief from the hundred or so different medications used to treat the disorder. This is evident by the new adjunct of medications such as Abilify. It is my belief that modern lifestyle is very sedentary, and depressed persons tend to be overly sedentary. In addition a common complaint among depressed individuals is that they have physical aches and pains. It is my educated belief that the cause of most depression is due to a lack of endorphins in the brain. Endorphin, which translates to endogenous morphine, would cause these symptoms if they were lacking. My therapy concentrates on raising levels of endorphins in the brain. I have developed therapies that have given real lasting results to depression sufferers. After an initial phone survey a personalized therapy will be devised for you.

Experience & Qualifications

I have worked with depression sufferers both in person and through some forums for the past two years. Clients I work with are being included into an addendum to my thesis that will be submitted to be published. My research began as a way to ease my own depression as I did not respond to traditional S.S.R.I. type medications.
