People with cancer are vulnerable and often feel overwhelmed. They have distinct health care concerns throughout the disease. There are often many questions to ask and decisions to make.
Healthcare providers are responsible for many patients throughout a given day. They're often rushed and don't have the time to thoroughly listen to your concerns or respond to your questions in an understandable and sensitive manner.
As a qualified oncology professional I offer first and foremost "sensitivity" as well as scientific knowledge of the disease, expertise in current therapies, symptom management, clinical trials participation, quality of life issues, survivorship concerns, informational resources and advocacy to help you navigate through the cancer care journey. My goal is to facilitate your empowerment by responding to your questions and concerns in an understandable, caring and compassionate manner.

Experience & Qualifications

Twenty-three years of clinical experience as a registered professional nurse. Twenty years in cancer care including acute care and outpatient settings, regional cancer centers, home infusion and hospice environments.
Extensive clinical research experience. Consults for various pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies involved in the development of targeted therapies for cancer.
Areas of interest include breast, colon and lung cancers, gleoblastoma, melanoma and
gyn-oncology.
Holds key certifications in the field. Attends major oncology conferences on a regular basis and continually strives to remain current with practice recommendations.
