I provide one on one or group instruction in reading,writing, and math. I am instrumental in empowering students how they learn best and teach them to learn using their strengths rather than weaknesses. I can help with test taking, study, and organizational skills. Assisting parents and teachers in fostering a child's academic and confidence level is my mission.

I taught Special Day Class for Grades 6-8 for five years and served as a Resource Specialist for grades K-5 for two years in the public schools in Northern California. I have also home schooled students in grade 4 and 5 for one year. I have a tutoring service known as Tailored Learning. I assess individual learning styles and teaching new and difficult information according to their individual learning style. I empower the student how she/he learns best. Together as a team, we work on goals and objectives that are achievable with incremental benchmarks to measure success. Once achieved new goals are drafted. Students are taught with patience, humor, and overall respect for their time, effort, and attention.
