We provide expert carpet dyeing and color restoration services for wall-to-wall carpet as well as valuable Persian & Oriental Rugs. We offer the following services:
COLOR MATCHING
Does not change original carpet color! Restores unevenly discolored carpet to one uniform color to match the original carpet color.
SPOT DYEING
Restores missing colors in spots, usually caused by bleach, urine or harsh cleaning chemicals. Also for color missing from specific areas; UV fading, ozone fading, water mark & unsightly discolorations. Spot Dyeing for darker-than-original-carpet stains; caused by food & beverages, organic or inorganic staining substances.
TRUE DYEING/COLOR CHANGE
Changes the color of your carpet to a new color. Millions of custom colors may be possible (depending on existing carpet color). Contrary to popular belief existing color families may be changed (such as Mauve to Teal, or Country Blue to Dusty Rose, or Beige to Hunter Green, or ugly, outdated colors to exciting new vibrant colors).
TONE/TINT
Deepens the existing color of your carpet.
RESTORE/REVIVE
Restores color to patterned or multi-colored carpets. (like for faded, water damaged, or discolored areas in solid or patterned carpet.)
COLORFRESH/COLORBRIGHT/COLORKEEPER
Color maintenance treatment to keep the color of your carpet new. Deep cleaning with a tiny bit of dye that doesn't change the original color of your carpet. This color revive process brings lightly faded carpet back to the original color evenly.
COLOR RESTORATION/TINT
Darkens or deepens existing color. Select from a slight shade to a deep shade of the original color.
DESIGN DYEING
Add a border or special color design, pattern, logo or accent to your carpet.
STUBBORN STAIN REMOVAL/COLOR REPAIR
Removes stubborn stains or adds color to match your existing carpet color.

Chris Howell, Color Your Carpet® owner, became interested in carpet dyeing in 1999 after his dog destroyed brand new carpet in his home, and wasn't able to locate anybody in the entire Baltimore/Washington DC area who could fix the problem. A web search on carpet dyeing produced information on Color Your Carpet®, a carpet dyeing franchise, and Howell launched his "dyeing business" in 2000.
