I am a 25 year old mother of 3 with an AAS Degree in Culinary Arts. I have been working with food for over 10 years. Aside from my basic knowledge of cooking and food I have training and knowledge in the following areas: Garde Manger (cold food/appetizer preparation), hot foods preparation and cooking, pastry preparation and baking, pastry/cake decorating, plate arrangement/decorating, and food service. I specialize in baking, pastry, and candy making.

Experience & Qualifications

I have over 10 years of experience in food service, preparation and hot food cooking. I have worked at numerous restaurants and as a personal Chef.
At 14 I was a server and a line cook and knew that I wanted to become a Chef. During the Summer of 2006 I worked at the Bohemian Grove in California preparing food and desserts for over 1,800 guests each night. I completed the culinary program at Scottsdale Community College in May of 2007.
I won the bronze medal in the 2006 Skills USA national baking competition. Currently I work at an in home daycare and am responsible for lunch and snack preparation.
