I have completed by Chartered Accountancy and now I am a qualified Chartered Accountant. Further, I have completed my ACCA (UK) by passing all papers in 1st attempt. I also have a 1st class Masters degree in Economics.
Experience: I have worked for more than 5 years as an external auditor in Senior position in one of the leading audit firms in the world. During my tenure at the firm, i was engaged in multiple audit engagements ranging from Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Construction companies, Government institutions, Financial Institutions, Banks, Non-Government bodies and Insurance companies. In addition to external auditing, i have also been engaged in various consulting and advisory services including internal auditing, financial planning, investment appraisal, Cost benefit analysis, etc.
During my tenure at work, my key duties and responsibilities included the following;
• Analyzing the financial performance of the company using techniques such as PESTEL, Porter's 5 Forces, BCG Matrix, value Chain Analysis, Ansoff Matrix, Stakeholders mapping, etc.
• Identifying the risks faced by the company and recommending controls to mitigate or reduce those risks.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Preparation of financial statements that is Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Cash Flows, Statement of Changes in Equity and Accounting Policies and Explanatory notes.
• Performing cash counts and bank reconciliations.
• Preparing reports in audit findings.
Achievements:
During my ACCA qualification, I was awarded Certificate of Achievement in ACCA papers F1(Accountant in business) and F3(Financial Accounting)
I have also been awarded Certificate of Ethics by ACCA (UK)
