My Expert Service

I provide licensed, professional counseling to children, teens and parents. My clients range in age from PreK-18. I also help parents who are facing difficult issues in regards to parenting their children. I deal with all issues including sexual assault, anger management, bullying, self-esteem, peer pressure and substance abuse. I also deal with domestic violence issues and hold a certification in Domestic Violence Counseling. I also contract with and am approved to do DCFS and court-ordered counseling.

Experience & Qualifications

I have diversified experience in the field of Child & Adolescent Psychology. I am the Executive Director of Helping Hands Counseling & Consulting Services in Crest Hill, IL., where our mission is "Building a Brighter Tomorrow for the Youth of Today". I have my own private practice where I conduct individual, family and small group counseling services. For three years I directed the Character Ed/Counseling facet of a local after-school program which was funded under the No Child Left Behind Act. We serviced over 500 students in this program. Our success rate was consistently between 90-95%. I also co-authored four copyrighted books on child/adolescent issues that were distributed to local media centers for parents, teachers and others who deal with the child and adolescent population in their daily lives. I have conducted workshops for parents and staff development seminars in our local school districts. I have also provided small group counseling services to local schools. I feel that on-line counseling is an excellent adjunct to sharing my expertise in my field to those who may not otherwise get the counseling help that they need.
