The most important and critical step after reviewing basic SWOT techniques to evaluate entering an industry is to put to paper a methodical strategy for profit. How much will initial production cost, how much might each unit cost, how many units can be sold at given price options and then will it cover your operating cost? I am not about theories and high level textbook concepts. I can bring the concept directly to your scenario and show you quick and dirty ways to take steps you need to take and do it cheaper. It is not enough to make sales in hopes that one day you are in the black. The successful strategy is to most quickly have profit while having and clear and effective long term strategy for growth and expansion.

I served as a consultant in Corporate Financial Advisory Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers focusing on mergers and acquisitions. I worked at a premier US consulting boutique in operations and business strategy focusing on competitive behaviors and pricing and operational strategies for the some of the largest international firms. I left to run a design, manufacturing and distribution company and currently manage product lines under 3 brands. I've selected and implemented our ERP system and have grown the business expansion with the most cost effective ways to integrate seamless and efficient operations from order receipt to shipping. I design products and source from family owned factories in Korea and China. I have a thorough understanding of every step of the business process and can help you navigate from the most cost effective manner to content effective and manage the trade-offs. This can apply to material selection and its impact on the duty rate to researching patents, researching and applying for trademarks and on to developing and maintaining a website.
