My Expert Service

My passion can empower YOUR life. As co-founder of Mommy-Muse.com and host of "The Mommy-Muse Is In," I am passionate about enlivening your resourcefulness, talent and creativity through online collaboration. After years of traditional face to face counseling, I now wholeheartedly embrace the healing possibilities of online technology. I am highly intuitive, and experienced in helping people through loss and grief, anxiety, stress management, postpartum depression, multiple personality disorder, trauma recovery, navigating tough life choices, understanding your dreams, and helping you to create the life you want. Whether you are looking for a life coach or a counselor, I will be honored to help you empower your life, right now.

Experience & Qualifications

When I first became a mother, I was shocked to discover myself in the midst of a difficult challenge. There were times when I didn’t know if I would survive. Since then, I have learned that new motherhood is often the toughest part of a woman’s life. We each do the best we can with the resources we have, yet sometimes life circumstances can overwhelm our coping skills. After receiving a Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science through Bastyr University and the Leadership Institute of Seattle, I initially focused on traditional private practice. After the birth of my first daughter in 2001, I realized there was a vitally important group of people to reach out to: new mothers, who often do an amazing job of hiding their internal challenges from friends, family and even health care providers. As co-founder of Mommy-Muse.com, I now work as part of a mother-daughter team to provide specialized online counseling, coaching and other resources to support mothers through the life-altering challenges of new parenthood. We offer empowering information gained not only from our years of helping others in online and face-to-face therapy, but from our own experiences with baby blues and postpartum depression. As part of my commitment to share what really helps, I have written "The Essential Mommy-Muse.com Toolkit: 11 Empowering Keys for Your Journey into Motherhood," "The Belly Dance Prescription: Shake Your Hips AND Depression," and am delighted to host "The Mommy-Muse Is In: Empowering Your Journey into Motherhood" on the VoiceAmerica.com Health and Wellness Network.
