Administrative Officer, 3/2008 - 2/2009 Primary duties in this position included providing guidance to the Area Veterinarian in Charge (AVIC) on all administrative, fiscal, personnel, and procurement issues. Management of clerical, secretarial, and administrative program personnel, assuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and directives. Prepared annual operational budget request in accordance with Agency guidelines. Managed leave and compensation, personnel records, benefits administration; act as Area Office HR generalist for workplace issues.
