Experience & Qualifications
|
My previous experience in Special Education has been working with autistic, developmentally delayed, learning disabled and emotionally disturbed students.
Before and during college I was very actively involved with the Sibling Support Program founded by Don Meyer. My professional association during college was with the Council of Exceptional Children. I am currently working with other professionals in the field in forming an association to help with the bullying problem in schools. The association will focus on helping the below the surface bullying that often is not noticed.
My brother Sean is learning challenged so I know the personal side to disabilities. I wish to help others avoid mistakes and to see the positive side of having a family member with a disablity.
I hope to be an informative effective source of information to those who need it.
