I have worked in the field of adoption for a number of years. I provide counseling services for both children and families. I work with children on referral for adoption services to prepare them for a new family. I am familiar with the issues of adoption. I write adoptive homestudies, as well as facilitate training for prospective foster and adoptive families.
I work with children on loss and grief, self-esteem, behavior, social, academic and many other issues adopted children may face. In terms of resources, I will be able to help you identify appropriate resources to meet your child's needs. Since adoption is a lifelong process, your child's needs will change as they age.
