I am the Appellate Commissioner of the Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Service. The service is based in the England and specialises in providing arbitration, conciliation and mediation services in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We are able to provide these forms of dispute resolution for many different types of disputes which would normally be resolved in County Courts these include civil law disputes between both individuals and companies. My area of specialism is arbitration, however, my colleagues have other specialisms in our other areas of practice and if your question relates to an area outside of my area of knowledge I am happy to pass it on to get the best answer for you. I am also willing to provide general legal advice to the best of my ability through this service. I will provide advice only through this service as actual arbitration, mediation and conciliation services are governed by strict rules which can only be properly followed by due process. I have heard a number of cases via arbitration all of which have been conducted in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1996 which was passed by Parliament of the United Kingdom.
