A Legal Nurse Consultant is able to lend advice fellow Health Professionals in regards to documentation. A Legal Nurse Consultant is not a lawyer, unless he/she has indicated a juris doctor degree, and therefore, is not allowed to lend legal advice or to indicate if a particular case holds merit as a legitamit law suit. However, as a Legal Nurse Consultant I can identify the need to seek legal counsel.
