I have been working in the baking industry for 14 years, have obtained certification as a pastry chef at the start of my career. In my 14 years in the baking industry I have worked as a bread baker working night shift for 9 years, MASTERING the art of bread making. After which I went on to further my knowledge as a baker by working as a pastry baker for approximately 2 years with much success. Now I am working in a shop as a bakery manager with approximately 8 employees under my supervision. My duties include scheduling, hiring, ordering stock, monitoring waste, merchandising, planning productions, calculating margins, dealing with staff problems (baking and personal), maintaining a clean working environment, customer service, etc, etc.
