I did my BTech and MTech in Mechanical engineering from IIT Guwahati and my PhD. in Computational aerodynamics at IIT Kharagpur, India.
I have 5 years of teaching experience during which I have expertised on topics like Heat and Mass Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid dyanmics, Aerodynamics, Computational Aerodynamics, Gas Turbine and Jet Propulsion, Machine Design, Engineering Mechanics, Mechanics of Solids and the related topics.
Presently, I am developing Navier-Stokes solver based on my own algorithm using Finite Volume Method on both structured and unstructured grids.I also have the experience working with softwares like ANSYS CFX, ICEM CFD, FLUENT,GAMBIT especially numerical simulations involving high speed flows. My experience especially pertains to 2D flows but 3D flow simulations will also be dealt with.
