Daryl has been active in the recruitment industry since starting his own recruitment business in 1991 at the young age of 22. Today Daryl is the Managing Director of MACRO Recruitment Australasia.
During this time Daryl has personally successfully recruited over 600 staff, 56 of these were at the executive level, others included IT, defence, healthcare, scientific, aviation, engineering, sales, accounting and HR.
Prior to MACRO Recruitment, Daryl Keeley also worked for the Australian Defence and automotive industry as an Engineer, Software Developer and Projects Manager.
In 1998 he applied his engineering mind to the systemization of the recruitment process. In doing so he developed a highly useable and effective recruitment process called the "Right person - first time" method. This method, still used by MACRO today, has resulted in 99.2% of the 1400+ candidates placed made by MACRO passing their probation period – the highest success rate in the recruitment industry. Recently, with the help of some very talented software developers, this process has been embedded within MACRO’s in house recruitment software that is now available commercially for employers and recruiters.
Daryl has written in exceed of 130 articles of which many have been published on topics associate to the Hiring, Firing and Inspiring of staff. Daryl is available for speaking events on these subjects. His speaking services are commonly used as openings for conferences, workshops and networking seminars. His events are well attended and always leave the listeners wanting more and engaged to return to their work place to make positive changes.
