I specialize in treatment of alcohol and drug problems, recovery from trauma, adolescents, and marital/pre-marital issues.
My style of counseling is called Cognitive Behavioral which means that what you think in your heart is what you live out. This may not always seem rational because there are emotions and perceptions attached to ones logic but it is real when we make decisions that affect our life because of them. My goal is to help you figure out what you want (if you don't know) and help you get to it by working through the issues that are a distraction from you living your best life.
Whether working with couples or individuals my goal is to help you recognize the impact of the past on your present life, both positively and negatively, and how you can be free of the negatives and stand strong on the positives.
During our time in counseling we will focus on varying topics like: commitment, finances, sex, intimacy, how to be married for a life time, money & finance and much more.
I also lead counseling groups for trauma, substance abuse, marriage & pre-marriage. I am a certified alcohol abuse treatment specialist (CAATS) and a certified disaster mental health response specialist (CDMHRS)

I have been counseling for over five years in Canada and the U.S. I am a licensed counselor. I have counseled couples, singles and families dealing with issues that vary greatly. I have counseled clergy and people of varying faiths and races.
