Nov. 99 – Oct. 00: Applied Structural grid to architectural renderings then used RAM Frame, RAM Advance, STADD III and/or EnerCalc software for structural analysis. Applied structural analysis to design buildings and structures in accordance with ACI, AISC, BOCA and state building codes. Used AutoCadd 14 and Softdesk to layout framing plans and details. Instructed draftsman on how to complete the details. Design projects include a three story steel frame office with a brick veneer and concrete foundations, a one story concrete masonry municipal jail with a precast plank roof, and a horse barn of glue laminated timber.
Dec. 97 – Nov. 99: URS Griener - Design Engineer
Design structures for supporting telecommunication equipment. Structures include mono-poles, roof trusses, concrete slabs and the analysis of existing roof structures. Used RAM Frame, STADD III and AutoCadd 14, also design an armory for the National Guard and an administrative building for the Pittsburgh light rail system.
Feb 97 - Dec. 97: Fletcher Thompson - Drafter Detailer
I started working in AutoCADD 13. Then brought the computer system up to Windows-NT and AutoCADD 13 Standards. I’m fully versed in all computer operations and ready to start on design aplications.
