Currently, I am a consultant for a boutique research firm that provides access to primary sources of market intelligence through a Consultant Network. I provide mutual funds and hedge funds insight into the New York real estate market that include trends in apartment rents, factors affecting occupancy rates, economic environment, mortgage market, supply, seasonality, and outlook for the market.
For approximately two years, I served as an associate analyst at a global diversified real estate company that provides a broad range of financial services to investors in commercial real estate-related assets. I helped structure and distribute commercial mortgage loans targeted for securitization. My duties included but were not limited to drafting assets summaries and re-undewriting commercial mortgage loans. I tracked many major real estate markets across the U.S., including New York, and studied market vacany rates, asking rents, concessions, sales information, as well as business plans for different properties.
From 2005-2006, I was assistant to the project developer at a privately held, full service real estate company located in New York. Services provided include acquisitions, design and construction management, asset management, commercial & residential sales, and leasing. My duties as assistant project developer included performing comparable market analysis for the pricing of TEI units for condominium conversions and new developments located in New York, working closely with management companies in helping maintain and lease up newly developed properties, and analyzing lease agreements.
Lastly, at a leading commercial real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, I helped provide statistical real estate market data on national and local level and researched national markets for market trends, lease information, and labor statistics for market reports.
I am a graduate of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College where I received my MBA in Finance, and the University at Albany where I received his BS in Business Administration.
