I have been involved in the daily care of over 30 horses for the past 10 years. For the past 6, I have directed the lesson and camp programs for a non-profit riding school in San Jose, CA. In addition to my program coordination duties, I teach a lecture series on a wide variety of horse care and handling topics.

Experience & Qualifications

I returned to riding as an adult and have been taking regular lessons with an eventing instructor for over 15 years. I ride for the love of it, but have competed at the state level with an adult quadrille team. I've combined my love of horses and skills as a technical writer to develop a collection of hands-on courses that teach students about all aspects of horse care and how to safely and effectively work with horses on the ground.
