I follow KP (Krishnamurti Paddhati) sytem of prediction which is based on constellations and subconstellations. This results in more accuracy than other methods which offer only 12 possibilities in a day as there are 12 possible ascendants. In KP sytem, however, the introduction of sublord (constellation subdevided into nine subparts) lends more accuracy. For instance, in the case of twins, the time difference between the siblings could be anything between two to five minutes, and conventional horoscope casting method may come up with nearly identical horoscopes. But, in KP system the high resolution provided by the cuspal sublords will offer more precise and accurate prediction. Fine tuning of birth time is also possible by using the ruling planet method or through physical verification depending on the cuspal sublords. Intense planetary periods (mahadasha) help in determining the timeframe for event to materialise. Such predictions can be applied to predicting the favourable and unfavourable periods as well as in taking major decisions in business, marriage, health, education, real estate, investments, etc. and for recommending remedies.
To summarize, the KP astrosystem helps in refinement of birth data and predicting the events more accurately.
