I have a very extensive educational and practical background in the healthcare field. Over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field and has worked food service management companies, hospitals, federal government programs, educational institutions, corporations and healthcare facilities. I am a member of the Greater Atlanta Dietetic Association, and a board member of the Greater Atlanta Association of Diabetes Educator and president of the African American Specialty Group Chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators. I have presented a scientific poster presentation at the International Diabetes Conference in South Africa and has published numerous articles in the areas of nutrition and diabetes. My former work experience includes Clinical Dietitian with a world renowned Hospital, Head Nutritionist with a locally known prestigious healthcare clinic facility, worked as a Diabetes Coordinator and worked as a Nutritional Researcher. Currently working with as a Nutritional Consultant with Wellpoint and is a Diversity Leader for the American Dietetic Association. My clients include Marriott, Eli Lilly, Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Morehouse School of Medicine.
