I am able to answer questions in all fields of chemistry (organic chemistry / inorganic chemistry / physical chemistry / nuclear chemistry) and also provide advice on how to approach problems especially numerical equations, chemical diagrams, chemical formulas and explanations. I am also able to help in maths at the level of GCSE or High school. I usually respond emails within 24 hours unless the answer requires deep research and therefore requires reference sources. I am also available for live chat.

Experience & Qualifications

My approach respects the student's personality and capabilities while challenging their thinking and perceptions. I adopt the Socratic Method in my teaching approach, peppered with fun and humour, to bring out the best in my students. One of my many duties include supervising 30-40 undergraduate’s chemistry practical classes and workshops, providing me with a further opportunity to refine my communication and inter-personal skills. Scrutinising the tasks being performed by the students enables me to facilitate the learning of practical skills fundamental to organic / inorganic / physical chemistry, in a relaxed and patient manner. I also have 10 years of experience giving tutions to 7-16 year olds in maths and science at GCSE and High school level.
