Creative Direct Marketing Expert
I’m a graduate of Parsons School of Design in Communications Design. I’ve also been an adjunct Professor there for 15 years where I taught Typography, The Graphic Design Portfolio, Communication Design and Website Development.
Professionally I’ve worked for both large and small agencies. Early on I determined my thinking was bigger than the companies I worked for—so I started my own firm—culminating in my current company, DM Creative Group, LLC.

Through hard work (and a little luck) I’ve been fortunate to work on projects for a who’s who of clients to help them "get, keep and bring back" customers including: American Express, Citibank, Chase, Columbia House, Highlight’s for Children, Meredith Publishing, Readers Digest, Musical Heritage Society, MBI, National Collector’s Mint, Tourism Prince Edward Island and Disney.

Professionally I’ve also been recognized with over 40 creative awards—Print Magazine, Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, John Caples International Awards, American Identity to name a few. Co-Authored a book “How to Create Successful Brochures” and spoken at many top Industry events.

I was the first man on the Women in Direct Marketing International (WDMI) board of directors, chairing membership development. I also, for 15 years, ran, chaired, developed and designed all the marketing for the Night of the Roundtable—an annual event with over 250 industry experts attending listening to over 25 speakers leading small roundtable discussions.

I’m the current President/COO of the John Caples International Awards (www.caples.org), an International direct/interactive creative design competition now in it’s 32nd year and considered the top International marketing/creative competition for direct and interactive design in the world. I’ve been on the board for over 8 years and am only the second President; hand picked by Andi Emerson the founder before her death in February 2007.

I've also conceived and developed web-based software to help companies "get, keep and bring back" customers. Programs include:

- Easy AdMaker, a web-based platform that gives corporations to have their agents, sales force and/or franchisees market themselves while giving the corporation brand and messaging control. Users could create any type of marketing including: eMail, direct mail, ads, flyers and collateral. All customized and personalized by them with the option to have materials printed and mailed or eMailed for them all done in less than 15 minutes.
