Experience & Qualifications

Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty board certification in hematopathology/hematology. I am referred to as the "Doctor's Doctor". When your doctor sends away your blood, urine/BM, biopsy (skin, lung, etc.), tissue, organ (colon, uterus, breast, prostate, etc.), cells for cytology (thyroid, pap smear, CSF, etc.), and much more, they rely on me to give them the diagnosis.
I also have training in all of the laboratory fields of microbiology, hematology, chemistry, transfusion medicine (blood bank), flow cytometry, and cytogenetics.
I am an expert in hematology which not only deals with blood/bone marrow disorders, but also disorders of the lymph nodes, spleen, thymus and any tissue/organ that may be involved with a hematological disorder.
