I am here serve you as a Pastoral Counselor, Chaplain, Professional Psychiatric Nurse and friend. I offer active listening, prayer, spiritual guidiance based on the Word of God, encouragement, and motivation. As one has been in the mental health field for over 40 years, I have a large breadth of experience to draw from. I have a passion in helping Pastors and their families through the stress of doing ministry which sometimes causes divorce, infidelity, relationship issues, religious and doctrinial problems, church polity problems, spiritual issues, cults, and spiritual abuse. Pastors and ministers in the ministry sometimes feel isolated and have no one to talk to. I here to serve you and help you. I do not do addiction counseling or counsel people who are suicidal. If you are suicidal call 911 or seek help at you local hosptial ER. If you have questions about medical/ethical problems, elder care, relationship problems, medical or nursing issues, domestic violence, loss, grief, depression, or spiritual issues that hinder your relationship with God, I can provide a sincere, warm, and effecive listening ear. I have over 40 years of experience in the mental health field and been in the ministry for 28 years. I am a Pastoral Counselor, a Professional Chaplain in which I did a 2 externship at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas and a professional nurse. I retired from the TX MHMR system as a professional nurse with over 23 years of service. My experience is varied and broad. I have worked in medical and psychiatric hospitals for 41 years which included ER work. I have a wife of 29 years and 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren. I know what it is like to have experienced loss and grief. I have lost to death 2 twin boys who died prematurely, have lost my mother, father, and sister, and recently my mother-in-law. I have been through the problems of elder care, placement in skilled nursing facilities, problems with Medicare/Medicaid, and the feelings of guilt one feels placing a loved one in a skilled facility. I specialize in spiritual abuse which is abuse that has been done by pastors, churches, individuals, denominations, cults, and one does not hear much about this area of abuse but many have experienced it. I enjoy working with Pastors who are in ministry as they face many challenges caused by the enemy. I am a Chaplain with the Civial Air Patrol, which is an offical Auxillary of the United States Air Force, and with Victim Relief Ministries that deals with domestic violence. I have experience doing debriefs for people who have experience domestic violence. Lets Talk.
